1SGT (Ret) Duncan Alfred Smith, Sr., 69 of Waynesville, a United States Army veteran, passed away at 6:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 30, 2009 in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center of Rolla, MO due to complications with his battle with cancer.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in the Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery of Waynesville. Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. – 10:45 A.M. Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Muncha Smith of the home; five children: Thomas, Michael, Diana, William and Duncan Jr.; three sisters: Chris, Sue and Janie all of the state of Michigan; one brother: Melvin Smith, Jr. of the state of Michigan.
