Fredrick Augustus Ruhl 1901-1984

Fredrick Augustus Ruhl was born a son of Fredrick Conrad Ruhl and Elizabeth (Dilk) Ruhl on May 19, 1901 in Baltimore, Maryland, and departed this life on May 10, 1984 at the Waynesville Nursing Center in Waynesville, Missouri in his 82nd year.

He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. He lived his entire adult life in the Waynesville/St. Robert area. He united in marriage to Lucy Wilma Farris on February 22, 1925, and to this union five children were born. They shared 59 years together.

He is survived by his wife Wilma, three sons: Kenneth and Paul both of St. Robert, Missouri; and Lloyd of Dixon, Missouri; one daughter: Jude Willhoff of Woodland Park, Colorado; one brother: Ludwig Ruhl of St. Robert, Missouri; one sister: Mary Itnyre of Baltimore, Maryland; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and one son: James.

Graveside services were held Monday, May 14, 1984 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gospel Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Earl Jones officiating.

Services were under the direction of the Waynesville memorial Chapel.

Those serving as pallbearers were family members: Jim Doyle, Jimmy Green, Leroy Wilson, Clarence Greer, Eddie Bales, and Ronald Swartzlander.
