Hager Jefferson Roam 1905-1984

Hager Jefferson Roam was born in Swedeborg, Missouri, on January 16, 1905, the son of John and Anna Manes Roam and passed away in the Breech Medical Center in Lebanon on Wednesday, August 22, 1984. He had attained the age of 79 years.

He was united in marriage to Edith Mae Johnson in March, 1929. She preceded him in death on July 15, 1976.

Mr. Roam is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Lundstrom, and Nola Bauer of St. Louis; two brothers, Cleve W. and Wayne H. Roam of Richland, with other relatives and friends.

He became a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church as a young man, worked on the Frisco Railroad for 30 years, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held in the Long Moss Williams Chapel on Saturday, August 25, 1984 at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Craig Tally officiating.

Burial was in the Crocker Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Long Moss Williams Chapel of Crocker.

Serving as his pallbearers were his nephews. Organist was Kathy Brandt and soloist was Betty Layman.
