Eddeth Frances (McClary) Nielsen 1907-1984

Services for Eddeth Nielsen were held at First Baptist Church 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Januray 26, 1984. Officiating at the services was Rev. Lawrence Clark. Music was provided by Rusty Shadel, Soloist, and Sharon Gunfram, Organist. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery. Escorts were the Grandsons. Under the direction of Colonial Funeral Chapels of Richland, Missouri.

Eddeth Frances Nielsen was born at Hanna, Missouri January 29, 1907, the daughter of Charles and Martha Anderson McClary, and passed away January 23, 1984 in Godfrey, Illinois. At the time of her passing, she had attained the age of 76 years, 11 months and 25 days.

She accepted Christ as her personal saviour when she was a young girl at Fairview Baptist Church and was baptized in the Roubidoux Creek. At the time of her passing, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Richland where she was faithful to her church as long as her health permitted.

She was a member of Success Chapter #87, Order of the Esatern Star in Richland. She served as Worthy Matron of her Chapter in Chicago 6 times.

Eddeth was united in marriage to Ray Storie May 29, 1926 and to this union was born 3 children.

May 9, 1942, she was united in marriage to Paul Nielsen and they made their home in Chicago until Mr. Nielsen’s retirement when they moved to Missouri in 1970.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 3 sisters.

Those left to mourn her passing are her 3 children. 2 sons, Eugene Storie, Oak Forest, Illinois; Robert Storie Ellisville, Missouri; 1 daughter, Evelyn Hodgerson, Godfrey, Illinois; 3 brothers, Edgar McClary, Jerseyville, Illinois, Raymond McClary, Iberia, Missouri; George McClary, Pueblo, Colorado; 4 sisters, Mary Wilson, Buckhorn, Missouri; Ollie Clay, Durango, Colorado; Fern Quesenberry, Grandview, Missouri; Ida Ellis, Eau Claire, Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.
